Mrs. Effie Barnard, 82, of Cisne, widow of Clarence Barnard, has died. Burial in Bailey cemetery. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellis, born May 4, 1879. On August 19, 1903 she married Clarence Barnard. They had no children. He died January 7, 1959. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Lewis Barnard of Wayne City and a foster sister, Mrs. Ethel Johnson of Homewood.
