Daughter of the late Fred and Rendy Meeks Hannah, she was the widow of Haywood Dail Mills. Additionally, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rendy Sue Harrington, and by two sons, Leslie Landeck and Snodie Mills. She was survived by two daughters, Dale Alligood (Allen) and Mary Castillo; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held on June 22, 2014, with Kent Gurganus officiating.
