Clarence Pforts
Clarence Henry Pforts, 56, 909 S. 13th, died Wednesday, 11:15 p.m., at Burlington hospital.
Mr. Pforts was born August 30, 1912, at Roscoe, the son of William and Julie Kampmeier Pforts. Aug. 13, 1959, at Princeton, Ill., he married Jewel Stratton. He was employed at the J.I. Case Co. over 30 years.
Surviving: His wife; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Winters, Wichita, Kan.; a son, Donald of Glenwood; four stepchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Wunnenberg, Burlington; Mrs. Dorothy Toncer, Las Vegas, Nev.; one grandchild, and 14 step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren.
Services: Saturday, 3:30 p.m., Elliot-Lunning Chapel, Elder Norman Rasmussen; Memorial Park Cemetery.
