Aberdeen - Clara McGregor, 93, of Aberdeen died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at the Aberdeen Living Center.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 624 N. Jay St., Aberdeen, with Rev. John Farden and Rev. Jais Tinglund officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Tuesday and 8-11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Huebl Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., Aberdeen, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Clara Aipperspach was born June 4, 1911, at Zeeland, N.D., to Frederick and Magdelena (Meidinger) Aipperspach.

She married John H. Rutschke on Jan. 7, 1930, at Zeeland, N.D. John passed away on July 27, 1952.

She married Lloyd Lauren "Scotty" McGregor on June 12, 1955, at Aberdeen, S.D. Lloyd passed away on Jan. 3, 1997.

Clara became a resident of the Aberdeen Living Center on Aug. 9, 2001, where she continued to reside until the time of her death.

She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aberdeen and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Survivors include one son, Wally J. (Fran) Rutschke of Aberdeen; one daughter, Lorena (LeRoy) Tislau of Sheboygan, Wis.; one stepson, Lauren (Karen) McGregor of Longmont, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Gloria (Ed) Pease of Mesa, Ariz., and Sharon (John) Gilden of Rogersville, Mo.; three sisters, Esther (Ruben) Kurle of Eureka, S.D., Lea (Henry) Blind of Bremerton, Wash., and Christine (Dale) Rowlen of Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; ten stepgrandchildren; forty stepgreat-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three brothers and eight sisters.

Casketbearers will be Mike Rutschke, Pat Tislau, Jon Tislau, Marvin Rieth, Doug Olson, Lee Hasz, John Schwantes and Tyler Hasz. Honorary casketbearers will be all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
