He served for five years as deputy sheriff of Uintah County. In 1914 the family moved back to Salem. He has taken an active part in LDS work and was a high priest at the time of his death. Gifted in dramatics he had always been active in amateur theatricals and entertainment of that kind.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, J.F. Snow, Long Beach, California, Bernard Eben, Santa Ana, California; three daughters, Mrs. Theora S. Marcil, San Bernardino, Calif.; Mrs. Hazel S. Bird, and Mrs. Wave S. Hinckley, Salt Lake City; ten grandchildren, one brother, Bernard Snow, Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Gardner, Salem and Mrs. Verona Whiting, Mesa, Arizona. Friends may call at the family home at Salem prior to the funeral services which will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Salem ward LDS chapel. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of the Claudin Funeral Home.
