William "Billy" McNeece, 37, Macon, MO, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002.

AWC McNeece was born April 2, 1964, in Holden, MO, the son of Robert F. and Shirley J. (Hobbs) McNeece.

He was a Navy recruiter living in Macon and covering Macon County.

He was formerly stationed in Tulsa, OK, where he received his AWC rank. He enlisted in the Navy in 1983 and received his AWC rank in 1999.

He was a 1983 graduate of Odessa High School.

He was a member of the First Christian Church of Odessa.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jean (Hobbs) McNeece, on March 29, 1969.

His survivors include two sons, Kyle McNeece and Brian Potter, and a daughter, Whitney McNeece, all of Denton, TX; his parents, Bob and Bea McNeece of Odessa, MO; his brothers and sisters, Wayne McNeece; Brenda and Kenny Crawford; David and Dana Barker; and Bobby and Joanna McNeece, all of Odessa, MO; and Lori Nelson of Blue Springs, MO; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call tonight at the Ralph O. Jones Chapel.
Services will be Tuesday at the Ralph O. Jones Chapel, Odessa. Burial will be in Odessa Cemetery, with military services by the Odessa Military Honors Team.
