Lucille Mae Ellett was the daughter of Albert and Annie (Ferguson) Hagler. Her siblings included Eugene Hagler and Sarah Wotawa.
She married Charles C. "Sugar Babe" Ellett on April 1, 1932, in Grand Tower. He died Jan. 6, 1968. They had seven sons, Rob Roy Ellett, Denny L. Ellett, Kenneth V. Ellett, Walter Ray Ellett, Jack Ellett, Leon Ellett, and Sherman Leroy Ellett; and one daughter, Patricia Guier.
Mrs. Ellett was a retired cook at the Ramada Inn in Carbondale and was a member of Women of the Moose.
She died at the age of 87 at her home in Murphysboro.
