ALINE - Graveside service for Jimmie "Jim" Allen Wallace will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Square Cedar Cemetery with Clayton Wallace officiating. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena.(www.lanmanmemorials.com) Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, July 1, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

Jim was born April 14, 1932, in rural Alfalfa County to Charles Edwin Wallace and Bessie Eleanor Reece Wallace and passed from this life on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at his home in Alfalfa County.

He married Tula Pearl White on June 28, 1957, in Fairview, Okla. He had lived his entire life in this area.

Jim was a master carpenter by trade, a minister of the Followers of Christ Church and served in the U.S Army during the Korean War.

Jim was an adoring husband to Tula, his wife of over 51 years, a loyal father to their 10 children and a doting grandpa. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and gardening. He will be greatly missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tula Wallace; son, Marion Wallace; brothers, Tommy, Delmar, Max and Gary Wallace; and his parents, Charles and Bessie Wallace.

Survivors include his sons, Charles Wallace of Aline, Clayton Wallace of Ringwood, Eric Wallace and wife Elizabeth of Enid, Neal Wallace and wife Beverley of Helena, Vance Wallace and wife Kandace of Norwich, Kan., Heath Wallace and wife Kay of Lamont, and Clifton Wallace and wife Sandra of Rockport, Texas; daughters, Linda Mercer and husband Mark of Mannford, and Regina Norton and husband Marty of Perry; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two on the way; and several well-loved stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, David Wallace; and one sister, Charlene Riggs.
