MARGARET LANGHAM COMBS
Margaret Combs left this earth to go home to the Lord on June 12, 2014.
She was born on Feb.19, 1923 in Hico, TX to Clifton and Wilma Langham. She grew up in Hico and in Miami, AZ, where she graduated high school.
Margaret retired from "Ma Bell" after working for the phone company for 38 years as an operator, a supervisor, a trainer and service advisor.
Her joy in life was loving and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known as Granny to all and never missed a chance to show us how much she loved us. Bright, witty, and generous with her time and her love, she made friends everywhere she went.
She is survived by her children, Lyn West of Cascade, ID and Bob Reed of Montgomery, TX, her grandchildren Steve Wehn, Tamara Harootian, Ken Wehn, and Melissa Vetter, and six great grandchildren.
Interment will be in the family plot in Hico, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior project or other veterans' organizations.
