Funeral services for Norma Lee Gibbons, 77, of Skiatook OK, will be held:

Thursday, July 3, 2014
at 10:00 a.m.
at the Riveted Church
in Skiatook,
with Pastor Jim Stratton officiating. 

Interment:
Osage Garden Cemetery
Skiatook, OK
is under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.

Casket bearers for the service are Steve Rue, Mike Mullins, Kevin Trego, Lance Cochran, Brent Cochran and Darren Bevins.

Musical selections for the service are "Go Rest High on That Mountain" and "Down by the River to Pray". 

Norma passed away on June 30, 2014, at the Skiatook Nursing Home.

She was born on May 22, 1937, in Cleveland, OK to Clyde Wilburn and Leona (Bryant) Cochran. She was a graduate of Cleveland High School.

Norma married Alfred Lee Gibbons on November 22, 1955 in Pawnee, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on September 29, 1991.

She has made Skiatook her home for the last 45 years where she attended Lakeview Southern Baptist Church.

Norma worked as the day care director at Wee Care Day Care. 

Norma is survived by her son Kelly Gibbons and wife Shannon of Sperry, grandson Nick Gibbons of Skiatook; three grandchildren: Alyson Williams of Skiatook; Jennifer Beasley of Sperry; Tyler Gibbons of Bartlesville; three great grandchildren: Andy, Melody, Lizzy, two expected great grandsons: Jaxon and Walker, a sister Mart Meylink, three brothers: Kenneth Cochran, Don Cochran and Willie Cochran,

nieces and nephews: Diane Trego, Kim Mullins, Julie Hendricks, Brent Cochran, Lance Cochran, Donna Lynn, Don Cochran Jr. Steve Rue, Darren Bevins and Lisa Bevins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfred, two sisters Sherry Bevins and Mildred Rue.
