Linda Gayle Galloway age 65 passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at her home in Tulsa with her sister, husband, daughter, and one great-niece at her side. She was born January 5, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Jack and Lennie Rice (both deceased). She graduated from Muskogee Central High School in 1967, studied vocal music at Oklahoma City University for 3 years as a Gamma Phi Beta member, then graduated from Northeastern State College (now Northeastern State University) with a BA in Secondary Speech Education in 1973. Linda was passionate as an amateur singer, award-winning actor, and author of short stories, plays, and novels, none of which she tried to publish commercially.
