Ray Rue
Ray Rue, 68, Okawville, died Thursday at Washington County Hospital, Nashville, Ill. He was a retired Okawville farmer and previously an oil well driller in Texas.
Surviving are his wife, the former Selma Hohlt; two sisters, Mrs. Dovie Lee Burton, Crane, Tex.; and Mrs. Veneta Payne, Houston, Tex.; and two brothers, B.C. Rue and L.D. Rue, both of Olney, Tex.
Mr. Rue was a veteran of World War II.
The funeral will be held at 2pm Sunday from the Moll Funeral Home, Okawville, to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Okawville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3pm Saturday.
