Anthony Lamont Lawrence, 67, of Fountain, FL, died on June 28, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born in Bessemer, Alabama and spent the majority of his life in Birmingham. Anthony was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran and a woodworker by trade.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Georgie Pardue Lawrence and his parents, Eugene G. and Imogene M. Lawrence.
He is survived by his son, Eric Lawrence (Kimberlee) and his daughter, Lisa McCarty (David). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Sandy Mountain Church Cemetery, Fountain.
