Leonard Alfred Larsen, 86, our loved and respected husband and father, died at his home December 31, 1991.

Born August 18, 1905 in Aspen, Colorado to Lars and Agatha Andersen Larsen. Married Nellie Orrilla Arter in Boulder, Colorado. Leonard was a carpenter and fine cabinet maker. During his early years he worked for the Federal Government. He joined the LDS Church in 1941 and was a construction Supervisor and Inspector under the LDS Church Building Department for 23 years until his retirement on December 31, 1971. He was a High Priest and an Ordinance Worker at the Jordan River LDS Temple.

Survivors: wife, Nellie Arter Larsen, So. Salt Lake; children, Lora Lee (Mrs. Hugh E.) Holt, So. Salt Lake; Leonard, Jr., Clinton; Tanis Ann (Mrs. Floyd G.) Hase, Virginia; Jay Richard, Calif.; Orrilla Margaret (Mrs. John R.) Van Orman, Orem; Eric Allen, South Jordan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert L. and Henry T., both Calif.; halfbrother, Lewis Larsen, Colo. Preceded in death by a son.

Funeral services Saturday, Jan. 4, 1992, 2 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, where friends may call Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial, Midvale City Cemetery.
