Mitch, 47, passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2009, from an ongoing medical condition.
Mitch was born in Glasgow to Richard and Gladys Edwards. He was raised on the family farm and attended and graduated school in Opheim.
Mitch attended Billings Vo-Tech, where he started his career in mechanics. At the time of his death, he was the Service Manager at Montana Peterbilt.
Survivors include his fiancée, Cori Leggett and her two children, Morgan and Dalton; his two daughters, Jessica and Katie Edwards; parents Richard and Gladys Edwards, all of the Billings area; one brother, Keith Edwards of Palm Springs, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles and relatives.
Mitch will be missed by many friends, family and coworkers.
Visitations may be made from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, at the Smith Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St., and at the church on Monday prior to the funeral. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 1, at the Broadwater Chapel of Faith Chapel, corner of Shiloh and Broadwater. Interment will follow at Mountview Cemetery.
