Keith was born January 9, 1925 in Millville Cache County, Utah to Ray Hamp Crockett and Camille Olsen.
He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Maryland in the South Pacific during World War II.
When he returned home from the war, he married Emma Joy Speth on November 22, 1946. Keith was active in his ward, and they were later married in the Oakland Temple. They had sixty-six wonderful years of marriage. Together, they had one son, Michael Ray (Barbara), and one daughter, Rochelle (David).
Keith worked for the Ford Motor Company as a mechanic, and as a long haul driver for Beacons Moving and PIE Freight Lines. He had a lifelong love of cars and could fix anything.
After retiring, Keith became an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Keith's greatest joy was his wife and family. He always had candy in his pocket for his grandkids and was known for his homemade fudge at Christmastime.
He is survived by his wife; two children; six grandchildren, Kimberly (Mike), Jennifer (Fletcher), Alicia (T.J.), Michael (Kristie), Kyle (Kristy), and Elyse (Bryan); and sixteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Royce Roosendaal; and his sister, Marilyn Raghainti.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), East Millcreek, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
