Sarah Lee Crabtree, 66, Odessa, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at the Medical Center of Independence. She was born Dec. 6, 1933, in Odessa.
On Feb. 10, 1952, she married Robert Lee Crabtree in Odessa.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Odessa, where she was the organist for many years and served as secretary, historian, deacon, trustee, Hand Bell Choir director, choir director, Christian Women's Fellowship and the Lafayette County CWF representative.
She graduated from Odessa High School in 1951, and was a member of the Weavers Extension Club, was a past worthy adviser for the Order of Rainbow, a former member and secretary of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce and the Odessa Community Day Care.
Her survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Crabtree of the home; five sons and three daughters-in-law, Daniel and Sheila Crabtree of Troy, MO; Carl Crabtree of Odessa, MO; Arthur and Donna Crabtree of Liberty, MO; Lee and Tammy Crabtree of Warrensburg, MO; and Aaron Crabtree, a student at the University of Missouri-Columbia; two brothers, Franklin Morrison of Okeechobee, FL; and Ronald Morrison of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Carmen Crews of Odessa, MO; and Mariena Webb of Sebring, FL; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call tonight at the Ralph O. Jones Chapel, Odessa. Services will be Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Odessa Cemetery.
