Karen Denise White Church, age 60, of Sheridan, died Sunday, June 29, 2014.
She was born March 8, 1954 at Benton, a daughter of the late James White and Anna Faye Orrick White. She attended school at Watson Chapel and the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Karen was a homemaker and a member of Shannon Road Baptist Church. For 10 years, she was a member of "Answering His Call", a Southern Gospel vocal group that toured the United States.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Teresa Anne Garrett.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Church, whom she married on August 6, 1972 at Pine Bluff; a son, Chris Church (Della) of Decatur, AL; a daughter Sarah Meek of Norman, OK; two sisters, Gina Harper (Charles) of Sheridan, Jayme Hansell (Mike) of Mayflower; a brother, Joe White (Kathy) of East End; five grandchildren; and her caregiver, Joe Fortier.
Services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Brother Gene Triplett and Brother Josh Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at #27 Phillip Drive in Sheridan.
