He was member of Livingston Baptist Church. He loved sports and his horses. He was an awesome "papa" to his grand and great grandchildren. He was known in his community as "Chief". He retired from International Paper.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Russ Bordeaux; three sons, Maxie Bordeaux, Jr. and wife, Louise of Fayetteville, Brad Russ of Lake Waccamaw, Derek Harrelson and wife, Leah of Delco; three daughters, Veta Bordeaux of OK, Mary Bordeaux of Delco, Paige Russ Brewer and husband, Wally of Delco; a brother, Marlon Bordeaux and wife, Doris of Delco; grandchildren, Courtney Goff, Neal Harrelson, R. J. Goff, Blake Rivenbark, Peyton, Reese and Paisley Brewer, Brooke, Bradley, Cymbrele and Klaudeya Bordeaux, Jacob Bordeaux; six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elvin, Tylon, Hubert, Ellis and Tim; an infant sister.
His funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 3 2014 at Livingston Baptist Church by Rev. Matthew Griffin and Rev. Brian Beaver. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
