Marsha Phillips, 67, passed away at 1:47 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born in Revelo, Kentucky on January 15, 1947 to the late James Watters and the late Dorothy (Winchester) Watters. Marsha married Tracy Clark Phillips Sr. "Trace" in Blackford County in August, 1979. He precedes her in death on September 3, 2005. She retired from Sheller Globe in Montpelier. Her greatest joy was her family and her dog, Dixie Mae Bell. She was an avid reader, loved puzzles, quilting and fishing. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Wendy K. (husband, Joel) Arnold of Hartford City; Michelle D. Coleman of Montpelier; son, Michael E. J. Coleman; step-son, Tracy Clark (wife, Melissa) Phillips of Poneto; step-daughter, Sabrina K. (husband, Jack O.) Rains of Montpelier; grandchildren, Kraig A. Piercy, Kevin J. (wife, April) Piercy, Angela A. Piercy, Chandler L. Piercy, Reteria (husband, Ben) Simmons, Miranda M. Coleman, Sara J. Shelton, Danielle Coleman, Joshua L. Arnold, Cierra K. Arnold, and Nicholas A. Arnold, several great-grandchildren; brothers, James Watters of San Antonio, Texas; Darrell Watters of Arlington, Texas; Rolen Watters of Marion, IN; David Watters of Arlington, Texas; sisters, Clessie Reynolds of Ft. Worth, Texas; Patricia Costa of Melrose, Massachusetts; Kathy (husband, Jerry) McClain of Liberty Center, IN; Loretta (husband, Randy) Prowse of Columbus, Ohio; Flora Jean (husband, Tim) McCoin of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Kevin R. Piercy, grandsons, Michael Ray Piercy and Codi R. Arnold. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City, IN with Rev. Clarence Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Hartford City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 and from9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
