TUSCALOOSA | Shellie Jean Johnson, age 72, of Tuscaloosa, died June 29, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Dr. Joe Bob Mizzell and Pastor Larry Corder officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to services at the gravesite.
She was preceded in death by Shellie and Rosie Prisoc.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Johnson; daughter Sharon Johnson-Burns; sister, Ruth Watson; and grandchild, Tyler Burns.
Mrs. Johnson was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her home and church. She was a member of the Ruth Bible Sunday School Class, and member of Alberta Baptist Church for 54 years. She loved her two poodles, Angel and Chico.
Honorary pallbearers are Robert Williams, Dr. Doug Shaver, Doug Brown, Lanny Holbrooke, Lou Roycroft, and Hospice of West Alabama.
