BERNARD A. HACKER
Bernard A. Hacker, 73, of 412 W. 12th Ave., Ellensburg, died Wednesday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He (was) born on Aug. 9, 1911, in Jackson, Mo.
He and Dorothy Mathers were married in 1934 and the couple moved to Ellensburg in 1936. He worked as a self-employed carpenter until his retirement in 1974. He was a Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Ellensburg; a son, Boyce Harker, of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Bob (Barbara) Thomas, of Renton; six grandchildren; a brother, Garrett Harker, of Newberg, Ore., and two sisters, Fern, of Sacremento, Calif., and Mable, of Indiana.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at High Valley Cemetery with Richard Lunstrum officiating. Friends who wish to attend may meet at the cemetery.
