Herma Seymour, age 95, of Wellston, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, at the Jenkins Care Community in Wellston, Ohio. She was born April 8, 1919 in Webbville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Triplett Young. Herma was a loving homemaker and she attended the Petrea Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Curtis (Linda Whitfield) Seymour of Blountstown, Fla., Luella Harvey of Wellston, Nancy (Allie) Skaggs of Hamden, Bob (Lois) Seymour of Bristol, Fla., Don (Dee) Seymour of Taylor, Mich., and Linda Moore of Lucasville; daughter-in-law, Linda Seymour of Georgia; son-in-law, Mitchell Barnett of Hamden; brother, Vernon Young of Wellston, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Seymour; infant daughter, Betty Seymour; son, Dick Seymour; daughter, Shelia Barnett; sister, Gladys Seymour; brothers, Warren, Herb and Vester Young and 3 grandchildren. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor David McKnight officiating. Burial will follow in the Byer Cemetery.
