Mary, 62, of Charlotte, MI. passed away on Friday, June 26th, 2014. She was the daughter of Almerian James, Sr. and Mina Evelyn (Elston) Allen.
She graduated from Charlotte High School in 1971 before working various jobs, including Carriage Cleaners in Charlotte, Kroger in Kentucky and the Grand Ledge Meijer.
Mary is survived by her son, Steven Gayle (Jessica Lynn) Thompson II; grandchildren, Brooke (Matt) Berry, Joshua, Audrey and Dalton Thompson; great-grandchildren, Lily Diaz, Justice DeBoer and Rieleigh Thompson; sisters, Sandra (Mike) Robinson, Barbara (Mike) Lundy and Deborah (Randal) Tooker; many nieces and nephews; and her 3 spoiled dogs, Lucky, Shoonie and Big Boy.
She was predeceased by her husband, Phillip Lloyd Abernathy; brother, Almerian James Allen, Jr. and sister, Margaret Hill.
A private family memorial service was held at a later time.
