Died 5 a.m. Friday, July 12, 1991, at his residence in Baker. He was 78, and a native of Tylertown, Miss. He was a retired Exxon Co. USA welder, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, with Masonic Services at 7 p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m. to religious services at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Bill Bolton. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife, Audrey L. Martin; father, Wise Martin; five daughters, Lorraine Hazlip Annette Crumholt Ilene Brashier, Lanell Meischke and Renee Van Norman; a son, Raymond Martin; six sisters, Ethel Stewart, Pauline Allred, Gladys Stewart, Geneva Case, Orenell Jarman and Edna East; two brothers, Wesley Martin and Charles Martin; 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother, Ada Irene Oliver Martin; and a daughter, Etta Faye Martin. He was a former member of Monte Sano Baptist Church, a member of Faith Baptist Church, Baker Lodge No. 441, F&AM, and a Royal Arch Mason.
