He was a former truck drive for Chemical Tanking in Catskill, New York and later he owned and operated "Eleven A" Contracting of Saugerties. He was a former member of the Teamsters Local #294 AFLCIO, a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council Baron DeKald of Brooklyn, New York, a former parishioner of Ressurection RC Church in Brooklyn where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and a current parishioner of St. John the Evangelist RC Church in Centerville.
