Emily F. Albert Lawson, 85, of Bluefield, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, August 31, 1993 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born October 28, 1907 to Annie and John Fleeman at Cabin Creek, W.Va. She was a retired employee of G.E. South Telephone Company. She was preceded in death by husbands, M.J. Lawson and Frank Albert. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Gladys (Boots) and Lewis Price of Blacksburg; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Blackwell of Roanoke; one grandson, David L. Price; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Carol and Jack Sanderson, Vicky and Clayton Fisher; three great-grandchildren, Leatrice Surface, Dean Price and Lynn Price, all of Blacksburg; one great-great-granddaughter, Amber Surface. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Betty Wasson and Phillip Lawson; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Shirley Lawson; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will meet with friends on Thursday, September 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va. Graveside services will be held Friday September 3 at 2 p.m. at Rose Lawn in Princeton, W.Va. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Joseph Geiger of Bland Street Methodist Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va.
