Harry Neil Sanford, 81, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kalispell, MT. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
Harry was born on July 17, 1932 in Baker, MT to Roger and Nellie Sanford. He graduated high school in Kalispell. Harry worked as a janitor at the Kalispell Center Mall and the LDS Church. In 2005 Harry moved to Sandpoint to be closer to his brother.
Harry was a member and Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and comedies on T.V., he also enjoyed his faithful companions and dogs.
He is survived by his brother Delbert (Rhoda) Sanford; four nieces Connie (Steve) Mathis, Susan (Rick) Ishibashi, Sylvia Taylor and Rae Sanford; one nephew Roger Sanford; also surviving are numerous great nieces and nephews.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Nellie Sanford and his sister, Sharon Sanford.
