He was born July 29, 1941, in Pikeville, Ky., son of the late Leonard B.[Beurnice] and Shirley (Sturgill) Howard and came to this area in 1965 from [Floyd County] Kentucky. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1995.
Quentin was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Norwalk. He enjoyed detailing cars, playing drums, and especially enjoyed going to church, and his church family.
Quentin is survived by his wife of 22 years, Gloria S. (Wargo) Howard, of Norwalk; his children, Quentin David and his wife, Tina M. Howard, of Bellevue, Donna R. Ford, of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Christopher D. Howard, of Charleston, S.C.; his stepson, Jeffrey and his wife, Sheri Kinney, of Olena, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Connie Howard, of San Antonio.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, until the service at 7 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. Dan Johnson, Pastor of Victory Baptist Church, will officiate.
