Mrs. Mabel Spinning,
Wife of Vice-principal
of West High, Expires
Mrs. Mabel Hope Spinning, wife of James M. Spinning, vice-principal of Wast High School, died suddenly yesterday noon at Highland Hospital. She had been in ill heath for some time, but her condition was not thought to be critical until a short time before her death.
Mrs. Spinning was born in Avon the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Dunsford. For several years she was a teacher of English in West High School, but resigned her position there at the time of her marriage to Mr. Spinning, 11 years ago.
She leaves, besides her husband, her mother, Mrs. A.G. Dunsford of Avon, and two sisters, Miss Ruth Dunsford of Avon and Mrs. Pearson of Baltimore.
Funeral service will be conducted at the home, 565 Wellington Avenue, at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon.
