She was the wife of Lyman Spurrier, retired Rushville barber .. After living in
Rushville for many years, the Spurriers moved 10 years ago to 944 East
Chestnut Street in Jeffersonville …
Mrs. Spurrier, a native of Harrison County, was a member of the First
Christian Church in Jeffersonville …
Besides the husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Edith Morrow of
Charleston, Mrs. Leota Wolfal of Columbus and Mrs. Grace McDaniel and
Mrs. Florine Fields of Jeffersonville ; two brothers, George Rainbolt of New
Albany and Morris Rainbolt of Corydon ; four sisters, Mrs. Eva Mitchell of
Jeffersonville, Mrs. Ollie Bliss of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Oda Carver and
Miss Ethel Rainbolt of Corydon ; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren ..
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at Coots Chapel in Jeffersonville
with burial in the Eastern Cemetery there …
