A. M. Cannon of Portland, certified public accountant and ex-referee in bankruptcy, died Thursday night in a hospital at Hood River from injuries incurred in an automobile accident Tuesday in which his sister, Mrs. Jenny Marvin, was killed. The accident occurred in a tunnel three miles east of Bingen, Wash.

Mr. Cannon was born near Albany in 1873, Surviving relatives include the widow, Mrs. Mabel Jones Cannon, and four daughters, Miss Caroline Cannon of New Jersey, Mrs. Robert A. Hughes of Oakland, Cal., Mrs. Dennis Duke of London, England, and Mrs. W. M. Moores of Portland.
