She was born on March 23, 1929, to Amiee Pormier Vallot and Joe Albert Vallot, Sr., in Youngsville, Louisiana.
She loved to cook, especially Cajun food and fried chicken. Her kids and grandkids were her life.
Survivors include her children, Jennifer Lynn DeShazo and Debbie Ann Chamberlain and her husband, Will and George C. Brooks III and his wife, Kitty; six grandchildren; eight-great grandchildren; brothers, Mickey Vallot, Anthony Vallot, Michael Vallot; and sisters, Shirley Ann Hoffpauir and Amy Durand.
She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, George C. Brooks, Jr.; four sisters; and a brother.
Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas
