THOMAS J. FAIR OF SISTER CITY DIES
Thomas J. Fair, 78, died at his home at 647 East High street. Benton Harbor, at 8:25 a. m. today from complications with high blood pressure. He had been confined to his bed for three weeks.
Mr. Fair was born April 29, 1858 In Harden county, Ill., and moved to Benton Harbor in 1917. He was a carpenter and worked for more than 10 years for Rosenberg and Forbes Lumber company. Funeral services will be held Thurs day at 4 p. m. from Dean's chapel.
Burial will be In Crystal Springs cemetery. The body will lie In state at Dean's until the time of the. funeral.
Mr. Fair leaves his widow. Sarah: two sons, William, at home, and Fred, Eighth street; three daughters, Mrs. Salvester Woods, Pipestone street, Mrs. Carl Gilbert Territorial road and Helen, at home; a sister, Mrs. Mary Shepler, this city; seven grand children, and three great grandchildren.
