Della E Luedtke and husband Alvin G Rose had three sons:

Whitford W Rose, born July 10, 1925 in Oshkosh WI. He was named for his Aunt Dorothy's husband, Whitford Carter.

Wesley Alvin Rose, born November 18, 1927 in Oshkosh WI. His middle name was from his father, Alvin.

Warren James Rose was born after the family moved to California. He was born February 19, 1936, in Los Angeles County, CA. He was named after his Aunt Lillian's husband, Warren Coe.
