Mr. James Lamar Ledford, age 63, a resident of Dothan died Monday, June 23, 2014 of heart failure. He was born and reared in Gwinnett County, GA and attended Central Gwinnett High School. He was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division.
Lamar is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sara and Jim Hudson, Diane and Mic Taylor, and Kathy and Gary Saxton; two brothers and sister-in-law, Tony and Teresa Ledford and Clyde Ledford; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, James T. and Annie Mae Ledford and one brother, Gerald Ledford.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held at a later date at Shadowlawn Cemetery in Lawrenceville, GA.
Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
