DWYER, Daniel Philip 63, of Tampa passed away June 24, 2014. Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Pat Dwyer; brother, Richard Dwyer (Diane) of Pinellas Park; stepchildren, Victor Sawyer of North Carolina and Gwen Richards (Shawn) of Dover; grandchildren, Ashley Cuevas, Trevor Richards, and Dillon Richards. Born and raised in Ohio, Dan has been a Tampa Bay resident for 54 years. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. Dan retired from the United States Post Office three years ago after 21 years of service. Family will receive friends from 2-4 pm on Saturday, June 28 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Oldsmar/ West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa. A graveside service at Bay Pines National Cemetery with military honors will take place at a later date.
