After serving in the US Navy, he moved to Philadelphia, met and married the love of his life, Jo. He worked in the textile industry for over 43 years and was a founding member of Queen of The Apostles Catholic Church. Mr. Rankin was a masterful carpenter and roofer and an avid gardener sharing the bounty with everyone. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. A quiet man of few words with a kind and gentle soul and a big heart.
Interment in Belmont Abbey Cemetery.
