George B. Ensey of Spencer, OK, passed away at his home June 24, 2014 at the age of 88 years. He was born September 3rd, 1925, in Pauls Valley, OK to Arthur J. and Betty Mae (Williams) Ensey.
George served his country in the U. S. Coast Guard and he was the first radar man on the U.S.S. Admiral Hughes. He owned and operated the Independent Glass Co. in Spencer, OK. loved horses and singing and enjoyed playing games with his wife, Helen and he taught her to Jitter-bug.
Preceded in death by his parents, son: Russell Ensey and one sister: LaNora Varucene.
Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; one daughter: Ohnna Maxwell and husband, Wayne of Midwest City, two sons: Emrick Ensey and wife, Barbara of Bryan, TX, and Ron Ensey of Spencer, OK; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great- grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00am at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home with burial to follow at 3:00pm at the Ensey 4-E Ranch in Sasakwa, OK.
