Miriam Black Stone, of Smoaks, widow of Eugene Stone, entered into rest on the morning of June 25, 2014, in Columbia.

Born January 7, 1942, a native of Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Randall Black and the late Annie Lee Wilson Black.

Surviving are: a brother, James R. Black of Smoaks; two sisters, Juanita Ruth Miller of Birmingham, Alabama and Cheryl Deanne Black of Columbia, Missouri; two nephews, James Anthony Black of Smoaks and Ben Black of Mount Pleasant; and a niece, Anita Joyce Hanz of Pennsylvania.

Private family funeral services will be conducted, June 27, 2014, in the Black Family Cemetery, Augusta Highway, Smoaks.
