Greg Wade Hopkins, 51, of Zionsville, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at his residence.He was born in Lebanon, on Jan. 15, 1963, a son of Walter Max Hopkins and the now late Carol (Yunger) Hopkins Smith. As a lifelong resident of Boone County, he graduated in 1981 from Western Boone High School.On Jan. 9, 1982, in Lebanon, he married Candy Lee Wilson. Mrs. Hopkins passed away on Sept. 20, 2012.Greg was an Inspector for Neovia Logistics in Indianapolis.He was dedicated to his family and was very involved with his grandsons' activities. He enjoyed reading the Bible, fishing, and playing a game of Risk with his brothers.He was a member of Connection Pointe Church in Brownsburg. Survivors include his father, Max (Betty) Hopkins of Indianapolis; two children, Dustin Wade Hopkins of Indianapolis and Whitney Nicole Hopkins of Zionsville; two grandchildren, Noah Hopkins of Zionsville and Brayden Hopkins of Indianapolis; sister, Garnet (Clyde) Jordan of Center Point; two brothers, Jeff (Kathy) Hopkins of Indianapolis and Brent (Susan) Hopkins of New Palestine; and stepfather, Terry Smith of New Albany, Miss. Greg was preceded in death by his mother and his wife, and a sister, Cindy Crow.
