Janice lived, worked hard, and loved much. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 39 years Jim. She was Aunt Janie for so long when she had her own two children she would slip from time to time, "come to Aunt Janie." It was a source of fun poking for the entire family.
She was retired from Sears. Enjoyed the life of retirement, and doing what she wanted to do.

Her sudden heart attack was a grief to all of us. She was up, going and doing. She had went to the lumber yard that morning to get some things. Picked up some things to get done. Then she picked up one of her sisters to stay with her. Later that day she was going to get her grandson, but did not feel like going. The other sister went. She said she was going to lay down. Not feeling well. Felt so bad she thought everything she had ate for 40 years was going to back up. Sis went to wake her about 8 pm to see if they were going out for dinner. Found her dead. So the doc says if you have to go that is the best way. You just go to sleep, not any pain, the heart stops, at least that was said after the autopsy.

Janice took the loss of her husband very hard. Some days she would say it was easier to cope with than others. Like most couples they struggled to make ends meet when they started out.
Soon they had the money to buy a home where they lived the rest of thier years together, and on this earth. A little 3 bedroom home in suburbia USA. They raised a son and daughter. These two gave them some grandchildren they were very proud of.
Janice was a person that was always good with children. I do mean good as in really good. The type of woman that anyone would have known would that she would care so much for the kids. She had a knack with all the kiddies in the family, all really loved Aunt Jan-ee.
