John Arnold, 88, Rt 2, Mulkeytown, died 5:30pm Thursday in Miner's Hospital, Christopher. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin County.
He was born east of Benton, Sept 19, 1877, the son of James and Rebecca Melvin Arnold.
He lived with his daughter, Mrs T H Miller, three miles north of Zeigler. He also leaves a brother, Ben of Zeigler and a sister, Mrs Grace Bennett of Royalton.
Burial in Herrin City Cemetery.
