Duesing
Mrs. Charles Duesing, 82, of 1126 New York Ave., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. She had been ill a month.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Theophil Uetzmann officiating and with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens in the Town of Kossuth.

The former Amanda Anderson was born Aug. 1, 1876, at New Denmark, Brown County. She was married at New Denmark to Charles Duesing Oct. 30, 1895, and the couple settled at Cooperstown. Mrs. Duesing came to Manitowoc in 1924 to live with a son, Omar, and in 1927 moved with him to Grand Rapids, Mich. Three years she came to Manitowoc to reside with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kanter.

Surviving are a son, Omar of Grand Rapids, two daughters, Mrs. Kanter of Manitowoc and Mrs. Louis Kusserow of Milwaukee, seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Five sons and a daughter, Mrs. Edward Redeker, of Two Rivers preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.
