JOHN W. FARMER

Midvale - John William Farmer, 68, 97 North Grant Street, Midvale, died Thursday, 10 a.m., in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness.
Born July 24, 1890, West Jordan, to John H. and Anna (Suits) Farmer. Machinist, now retired, former employee U.S. Smelting, Refining and Mining Co. Married Hazel Anderson, Feb. 12, 1914, Sandy. They were later separated. Married Mae Barnes, Oct. 1936, Salt Lake City. Member Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors: widow; two sons, Jack J., Seattle Wash.; Dennis L., Midvale; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Frances) Cleland, Sandy; a brother, Fred, Provo; grandchildren.
Funeral Saturday at 1 p.m., Midvale First LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Midvale City Cemetery.
