Joan is survived by two sisters, M. Eileen Thelen of Fowler and Bertine (Leon) Thelen of St. Johns, nineteen nieces and nephews, step-daughter, Janean (Steven) Lonsdorf of North Carolina, step-daughter-in-law, Virginia Raddatz of Stanton, two step-grandchildren, Roxanne Gorland and Amelia (Jeremy) Springer, four great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Neva Plourde of Webberville. In addition to her husband, Joan was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Amelia Cook, one brother, Philip (Rona) Cook, one sister-in-law, Bea Schneider, step-son, Terry Raddatz and one brother-in-law, Marvin Thelen.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo, burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, with Fr. Charlon Mason officiating.
