Vera Bradshaw, 75, Somerset, passed on Dec. 6, 2009, at the Hospice House.

Born June 27, 1934, in Davis, W.Va., she is the daughter of the late Rev. Vernice Summerfield and Ocie (Flynn) Summerfield.

She is also preceded in death by her sisters: Elsie Fox, Thelma Cerne, Betty Smith and Shirley Stemple; brother, Hugh Summerfield; and longtime companion, Robert Mueller.

She is survived by her sister, Mona Herring, Somerset; brother, Carl Summerfield, Quincey, Calif.; niece, Connie Conway and husband, Ron, Somerset; great-niece, Danni Conn and husband, Jeffrey, Confluence; and great-great-niece, Madilynn Conn, as well as many additional nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her longtime childhood friend, Janice Frazee, Addison.

Vera was a devoted daughter and caregiver for her mother.

She attended the Somerset Alliance Church and loved spending her time with friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Fireside Room at Somerset Alliance Church.

The Rev. Scott Ream, pastor, officiating.

Interment at Addison Cemetery.
