Colin was born in Evergreen Park to the late Warren and Lilian (nee Clarkson) Sorensen. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Dinkelman); Loving father of Don (Elaine) Sorensen and Jasen (Dana) Sorensen; Cherished grandfather of Arik, Logen, and Payten Sorensen; Dear brother of Kevin (Margie) Sorensen; Dear sister-in-law Nancy (Bob) Miller; Fond uncle of three nieces and one nephew. Colin retired as Vice President of Matteson Richton Bank and then went to work for Harold Motors, Olympia Fields as a Car Salesman. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 3:00PM until time of Memorial Service of shared memories at 7:00PM. A private family inurnment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
