Lillian Rowe

The funeral service for Lillian Williams Rowe of Paris will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Funeral Home.

Andre Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Chosen as pallbearers are Leroy Morris, James Curtis, Bobby Bryant, Tony Travis, Lamont Floyd and Verdell Tharpe.

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Rowe, 97, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Henry County Healthcare Center.

Born May 6, 1917, in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Daisy Williams. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, the late Minnie and James Williams.

She was married in 1940 to William Rowe, who also preceded her in death.

She attended schools in Paris and Henry County and was a lifelong member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves two nieces: Lula Milliken of Paris and Gail Pat Richardson of Hackensack, N.J.; and several other relatives.
