Beverly J. Brothers
On Jan. 8, 2011, at about 10 a.m., Beverly Joan Brothers, 67, was reunited with her high school sweetheart and soul mate, Richard A. Brothers, who has awaited her since Dec. 9, 1982, while she rested peacefully at her home in Lynn Haven, Fla.
It was confirmed in December 2010 that her cancer was in its advanced stage and beyond treatment. Though of small stature, through her unquestionable faith in God, fortitude and indisputable love for her family, she courageously set forth in rejoicing the remaining time she had left here on this earth with her loved ones.
Beverly was born Jan. 11, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, and graduated from Karns City High School, Class of 1960.
Beverly is survived by her mother and father, Dorothy and Loren Emery; brothers, Loren II and Mark Emery; sister, Lorna Kay Kelly; and children, Scott, Brenda, Brian and Bruce. She was a loving grandmother to Stephanie Dean, Nathaniel and Hadley Brothers, Benjamin and Alana Sloan, Alexander, Scotty and Quinn Abbott, Richard and Bradley Brothers, Emily, Joseph and Alicia Alcorn, Andrew Brothers and Erica and Holly Brothers.
She shall be forever etched into our hearts and minds until we too are called home to be reunited with her.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24.
